Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Shaun Sullivan
    I'll be giving Greg Benn a ride, so he'll be coming as well ... -s (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Freight Freitas
In lugnet.org.us.nelug, Freight Freitas writes: I'd like to suggest that as many people as possible, or those who are at least interested, bring a MOC to the meetings! We are Lego users ,builders, and designers, and its very interesting to see what (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Eric Kingsley
(...) Well I hope to see lots of MOC's as well but my problem at the moment is time. I havn't had a chance to build a thing since before the train show and I think trucking the same model back and forth to meetings is a bit rediculous :-). So (...)         Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Eric Joslin
(...) I can bring about half a MOC. :D Seriously, I have things I'm working on, on and off, but I'd rather bring a *whole* MOC. Unless people think it would be interesting to see works-in-progress... I sort of assumed that people would rather see (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Frank Filz
(...) Sometimes works in progress can be interesting to see. It can also be helpfull if you're stuck on something, or don't have a perfect vision of what to do next. Frank (who _won't_ be driving up from NC...:-) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Wayne McCaul
Groovy, this could help then. Originally, I wasn't going to bring anything for fear of my lame building skills. But I am having trouble with something I'm working on, so under the guise of Seeking Building Help, I'll try to bring along an (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Jonathan Dallas
I'm planning on coming on the 15th. I have a work in progress that I'll be bringing. I finished the exterior, but the interior and suspension still needs to be finished. see you there Jonathan D (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Suzanne D. Rich
(...) Yeah, bring a MindStorms model for the Guinness tap. :-) This is a good suggestion and made me think.. (looking around) I have a number of small models that I built years ago which people have never seen. It would be no trouble to bring one. I (...)          Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Suzanne D. Rich
(...) Well, wouldn't ya know it.. Yesterday I, quite unexpectedly, went into a building frenzy after figuring out how the asymmetrical cabling runs through the new Charles River crossing. I've been in love with this thing since I first saw the (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Mine too. It's different than other cable stayed bridges like the Tampa-St. Pete but apparently not the first bridge to use the "pass through" towers. See this post to .trains and ones near it, apparently there is one in europe somewhere too, (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Suzanne D. Rich
(...) Yup, the towers aren't new, other than a few details, but this will be the widest of its type. It's not a long bridge, but the cabling is stellar. It looks just odd enough for someone to need a few passes by to understand what's going on up (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Jonathan Lill
I expect to be there too and I'll bring my dinosaur sets as I should have them then. I don't have any MOCs at the moment tho... Jonathan (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Meeting on the 15th? —Tom Duggan
I'll be at the meeting, but really haven't worked on anything. I have been working on a new outrigger design for my ladder trucks, so I guess I'll bring that along. (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
