Well, wouldn't ya know it.. Yesterday I, quite unexpectedly, went into a
building frenzy after figuring out how the asymmetrical cabling runs through the
new Charles River crossing. I've been in love with this thing since I first saw
the drawings.. It's architecturally goregous and technologically brilliant.
(IMHO)
I found a simple way to model the towers. (Ok, so the angle isn't perfect..)
Now I need to know where can I get 116 LEGO bungee cables! :-D
Anyway, I'll surely bring part of this along on the 15th.
So, are we really supposed to call it the -
"Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge"? Ghad.
I prefer to call it the -
"87 million-dollar, 323' high, 10-lane, Butt-kicking, Cable-stayed Bridge."
Hooowah!

| (...) Yeah, bring a MindStorms model for the Guinness tap. :-) This is a good suggestion and made me think.. (looking around) I have a number of small models that I built years ago which people have never seen. It would be no trouble to bring one. I (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
