Well, there seems to be much interest in another NELUG meeting ...
excellent! Now we just have to have somebody grab the orangutang by the
[emmm, scruff of the neck?] and make a decision. What to do?
(1) Brikwars
(2) Dinner/Hangout
(3) Weekend (or evening) Buildfest
I don't even know which to advocate ... well, of course, Brikwars is always
great, though I'm not sure what type of game to have, as per my other
message. Dinner is always fun ... *ALWAYS* fun. The weekend buildfest
sound promising, but I won't be available this or the last two weekends in
May (which still leaves the 12th-13th open). I'm also available most
weekday evenings as well.
Maybe we should setup up a Brikwars game, but set it off in the distance a
bit (beginning of June?) since we all like to have some prep time -
especially if we're considering a different genre than TL5-6 (I'm not
necessarily advocating a change, though ....). Then we could have another
meeting in the short term? The middle of next week (15th?) seems to work
for most people.
It might just be the spring air coursing through my veins, but my current
impulse regarding NELUG get-togethers is "meet soon, meet often".
Well there, I've thrown out much information that leaves the orangutang
plenty of room to manuever about still. How do you spell orangutang
anyway? I'm favoring an evening get-together next week (maybe at somebody's
place, if we demand a change of scenery or want to build ... or there's the
usual place), and then plans for (A) a weekend building day ?? and (B) a
Brikwars game in the near future.
Humph. I'm babbling.

I'm starting to get antsy, which isn't surprising considering that the last meeting was ... emm, was it really only a week ago yesterday? Never too soon to get another one (...)
