The seeds of this idea had been floating around in my mind since I first participated in a MichLUG display, where the importance of having both multi-connection modules and the ability to adjust to last-minute changes were driven home. At that point I’d completed one single-connection module and had another single-connection module about halfway completed. Since I couldn’t redesign either of my first two modules to sqeeze more connections in, I figured it would at least help if I could make some quick-assembly hallway modules. Earlier this year discussion popped up about the possibility of making shipping containers that could be converted to corridor modules, but the more I looked at that concept, the less I liked the results. I wanted something that could be versatile without looking like they were meant to be, and I wanted the whole system to be very portable. This is the result. They were actually ready just in time to be used in our display at Motor City Comic-Con in the middle of May, but I just realized that I never got around to posting them here.

Don't you find that the bricks with pegs are difficult to attach/detach? That's been my (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Cool deal David, this solution is necc. Since we never know how everything will line up. My buddy Tim, has a system like this. Good write up too. Thanks for sharing. e (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
