There are two places you could have downloaded the BrickOS stuff from. 1) The NQC site, which has everything (like the kernal) pre-built. 2) The BrickOS site, where YOU need to build everything.     You know, after the first time I read through the SDK for 2.0, I always wanted to try sending immediate commands from the RCX to another one. that, I suspect, I can do with the standard firmware and NQC (I'll have to try).
