You know, after the first time I read through the SDK for 2.0, I always
wanted to try sending immediate commands from the RCX to another one. that, I
suspect, I can do with the standard firmware and NQC (I'll have to try). But to
get information back is a lot tougher (i.e. - there's no standard firmware way
to read the serial buffer, is there?).
Neat, neat idea steve. Way to turn a $125 RCX into a battery tester (you
know, some batteries have that built right onto them nowadays... ;-).

| (...) There are two places you could have downloaded the BrickOS stuff from. 1) The NQC site, which has everything (like the kernal) pre-built. 2) The BrickOS site, where YOU need to build everything. If you did #1, it may be hard for you to rebuild (...) (19 years ago, 8-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
