  Re: LafLRC @ IndyLUG

(...) I just set-up the train loop on my table at home. It's actually pretty small. The whole GBC pictured above will be moved 1 baseplate towards the left (front). The train will not run right against the back of the GBC. It will be 8 studs away. (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: LafLRC @ IndyLUG

(...) Ok, I just updated the layout, and put it on the front page of LafLRC.org I also figured out how to map directories (or something like that), so you can see the GBC page at laflrc.org/GBC Steve (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: LafLRC @ IndyLUG

(...) No. Kerby's module is not 3x1, as shown. It's 2x2. Steve (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: LafLRC @ IndyLUG

(...) Looking at this layout, should I modify my 2-baseplate module so that it dumps at a right angle? I don't see a straight 2-BP section that is unassigned. It would be a really easy deal to modify my module so it dumps at a right angle and would (...) (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Ok, we need to work out the detail of the GBC layout for the train show. Here's what we're working towards: (URL) outside loop goes to the rest of the layout. We can move the inside loop as needed. The train can be moved to make it one baseplate (...) (19 years ago, 23-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Brian, You should talk to these guys about putting a GBC into their layout (in the future) (URL) (19 years ago, 23-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Tic-Tac-Toe-bot

(...) The only issue I have with it is, unlike C4, the "winner" (or lack of one) is a foregone conclusion... *IF* the robot can actually play (as Steve & C4 demonstrated). Note I'm still in favor of doing it, just pointing that out. (...) 3-in-a-row (...) (19 years ago, 22-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Tic-Tac-Toe-bot

Ok, I've been thinking about the Tic-Tac-Toe game. Everyone I've talked to seems to think this will be a good competition for us to have early next year (after FLL). There are a couple questions to work out. 1) What size is the game? We can play the (...) (19 years ago, 22-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: My Latest Creation

(...) Bryan... I'd be interested in knowing how you have your drive train setup. I'm sure it is too complicated to easily explain... Maybe a couple of pictures? I've tried a few RC buggy motor drive vehicles and have found that trying to send all (...) (19 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

  Re: My Latest Creation

(...) Yes, there is a standard Lego 9V motor for the steering. It is connected directly to the rack with a 12 tooth gear. The buggy controller is really well suited for hooking a polarity switch up to it directly. The axel output for steering is (...) (19 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)
