Ok, heres the deal, First off I'm very glad that everyone had a nice time, I
think it's great that we can get together and share our passion for Lego.

On the other hand, boy did I mess up!

Check this out.

Drove down 287 looking for the Somerset Bridgewater area exit for 202/206.
Note to self the exit is called Benardsvile/Somerset, comming from North.

I figured out by the time I went all the way down to RTE. 440 and paid the 6
bucks for the bridge that I want too far!

Then, since my printer crapped out on me recently, I wrote the directions
down by hand, ug! I wrote "Towersvile rd." instead of "Wurtsville rd" I
can't belive it!

What a lame mistake! Well I paid for it because I drove and drove and drove
until I was so thirsty I stopped into the BK on rte. 206 and got a drink,
well no sooner did I get the drink into the car and the bottom fell out of
the drink! Releaseing said soft beverage into my lap and soaking me thru to
my draws!

Man-o-man!

I got home and clean-up and felt even more determined to make it to the next
Gardenslug meeting. I so wanted to meet all of you, I was looking foward to
meeting LFB and Andy and Chris and everyone.

Hey LFB, Only Gojira can save Tokyo! I had the GG mech riding in the front
seat the whole way. The lap belt secured the beast into place causing quite
a few on lookers to gawk at choice intersections and the like. What a laugh.

I figured if it was a weekday I could get busted driving in the HOV lane
with a dummy or a maniquin in the passenger seat!

I'm really sorry I missed everyone, I probably should have been a little
more paranoid and asked Chris for his phone number just incase, I'll need it
next time or I'll sleep on Chris' doorstep with my sleeping bag so I don't
miss it for sure!

BTW, I know here at Voicestream we build and bring new Cell towers on line
every day. In time the area you speak of should have Voicestream cell service.

Folks let's try to have another meeting soon. I'm going to Brickswest in
California, so when I get back I'll have all my Robots with me and I'll be
eager to get back to what I missed on the 26th.

Sincerly

<sigh>  Sorry you couldn't find the place... Several of us were
wondering why you didn't show.

Maybe next time we can have a telephone number to call for emergencies.
Unfortunately, I found out yesterday that Chris's house is out of cell
phone range.  :-(

My AT&T phone worked ok last year (from the Kmart parking lot anyway)

It's only up here on the mountain that reception dies.  There are spots as
close as a mile away in which there is spotty reception enough to sometimes
use.

I wonder what it would take to get a cell tower or whatever installed up here.

Chris
