What an awesome robotics display we had at BrickCon this year! I really wanted to thank Mark Kenworthy for putting together an awesome Crate Contraption! I just got confirmation that we will be able to use the new Michelangelo auditorium in the *new* DigiPen facilities for our meetings this year, starting with this Saturday's meeting.   Robot Competition at BrickCon 2010
 
This year's robot competition at BrickCon will be a racing competition. Build and program a robot able to race around an irregularly shaped gradient track while avoiding obstacles on the track. At the build session on the weekend I was reminded that I hadn't mentioned where to register for BrickCon. Here's a quick reminder about the build session this Saturday at the Bellevue Library in room 3 starting at 2pm. As many of you know, I'm the Mindstorms coordinator at BrickCon. As such, I need to make sure that anyone bringing robots will have room to display them. Hello Eric, I saw the thumbnail on brickshelf the other day and imediately recognized your style! Although this is different to your older builts it's still recognizably your style. Great work. What happens to the time? In just a week we've got our last SMART meeting before our summer break. (This will also be our last SMART meeting at the current DigiPen facilities.)
