  Re: Bluetooth GPS

(...) No. But just so everybody knows, I'm scouring the web for a million dollars. Just in case anyone is listening. Does it work? (20 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Bluetooth GPS

Ok, so I've been searching the web for a Bluetooth GPS. But, I really don't think I ordered one. Heck, I'm getting old. Maybe I forgot. So, I checked my mail, and in the back of my mail box, there's a plain white box. No address or any markings. I (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: 3T Practice Session

Re: Merry Christmas 2005 pics finally posted:)

Wonderful! The skating pond is so simple yet so effective. All the details throughout the scene are wonderful. Did you drill holes in the 1x1 transperent rounds to make the Xmas light strings? I didn't get a chance to do one this year but you have (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.org.us.delvalug)

  Re: 3T Practice Session

Glad you could make it. It was nice to see another working robot, and if I wasn't so stuck on using my giant arm, I would probably try to build a gantry system like the rest of you since it seems to work better (or at least faster). Its always nice (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  3T Practice Session

Just wanted to let everyone know how much fun I had at the practice session yesterday. I had some good learning this weekend. I already tore down the robot and removed the RCX from the moving structure last night. This seemed to up the speed a (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!! (My Last WIP)

I didn't take Ralphie Parker's advise and have almost shot my eye out about 5 times working on the missile launcher. I would place the missile into the launcher to make sure it fit, etc. Only to forgot about it and then trigger the mechanism!!! (...)   Re: Creating a GBC for a train layout, chapter 2

(...) Parallel tracks usually have eight studs between them, because that's the spacing you get when you add a siding. It's also the spacing you get if you put cross tracks across them. In fact, the 16x16 cross track is the best piece to work out (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Creating a GBC for a train layout, chapter 2

Another apect I was recently thinking about is where tracks usually cross baseplates. For instance, is it "easier" to get a straight section right next to the edge of a 32x32 baseplate, or six studs away? Or eight? Or... what? Does this always have (...)   More WIP

More WIP from Me. I am on the final stretch of building. In true "Iron Chef" fashion I have now decided that I am not going to make a Bricklink order to finish my Mecha but I am going to use only pieces that I have. So at the end I realize that I (...)   Re: 3T Board Change Suggestion

I still might construct a 6x6 cell version of the board for use with kids (if my robot is easily adaptable. This would probably improve my drop reliability to about 100%... I actually sat and played 23 games without modifying the robot last night. (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  More WIP

Here are some more WIP photos. I seem to be posting the most (I thought that was the idea), anyway I hope no one minds. Again, My Mecha is going to be complete symmetric. I always think multi-legged Mecha should be symmetrical that way they can move (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)
