| (...) Well, sort of. You seem to be using a light sensor to read a mechanical system, not observe the blocks themselves <grin>. And, as my post implied, I ended up with a mechanical system. It's just it doesn't allow all the fun stuff I wanted it to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

As it is, if I add another parallel task it fails to accurately register positions, (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I am also using 2 polarity switches and a (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

At one point, it counted from 0 to 24 (when moving across (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

While John and Brian are pointing their light sensor at the cube/square to check for one of three states (black cube/white cube/no cube) you're (...) | It's really too bad that the use of non-Lego sensors and the like is frowned upon for 3T. I think I could get a little more speed out of my robot if I used John Barnes' new motor drives and at least one RC Buggy motor to get the robot to the board. (...) | (...) Hmm..how strange...my T3 robot uses a light sensor to find the blocks and I am having no trouble at all distinguishing all the information I am after. I think I am getting a light delta of around 20 or 30. That seems to be plenty. But, I am (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

| Folks, My wife and I will be traveling 12/29 to 1/9, so I won't be attending the TexLUG Austin meeting on Sunday, 1/8. (I tried to find an alternate venue and/or time, to no avail.) The procedure for the meeting room at the LWC library is very easy; (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.org.us.texlug, lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus, lugnet.loc.us.tx)
