  Re: SciBrick: Joe Meno=The Man

(...) Thanks! What more can I say? (...) I need to thank all the planes and builders that 'flew in,' as my expectations were exceeded in many ways with the assortment of MOCs (like your dirigible and hangar) and quality of building. So (taking a (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.scibrick)

  Re: Starsky and Hutch hovercar

(...) Thanks everyone. I always admired how Travis included CAD models of many of his mocs. Nothing helps my appreciation of a model more than being able to see it from inside to out. Usually the cleverest building techniques are hidden from view. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad, lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

Re: The Brickfest PDX Moonbase Build Up!

As of two days ago: (URL) Definitely not much there, but I keep plugging away at it. Buildings are a completely new project for me, and coupled with a general lack of good black pieces this is turning into one of my more challenging models. But (...)   Has anybody successfully added an RCX to 7471 Mars Rover?

Ever since I picked up the 7471 Mars Rover a few months ago, I thought it screamed out for an RCX modification. I saw a lot of discussion about the possibility, but didn't find where anybody had actually successfully done it. Now that BrickFest PDX (...) (...) Yum, yum, Bram! This whole medium is *so* cool! I'm so sad that I won't be at BfPDX to see in person what everyone's been up to--I'll be moving into my new house that weekend. Have a blast, everybody! -Teddy (21 years ago, 19-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick)

  Vehicles for 16x16 Moonbase

Re: Proposed standard for Mini/Micro Moonbase

Very cool, Bram ! I was looking at the 8x8 idea and thinking it was great, but that it was too small for a lot of detail. It's just a bit smaller than Anders Isaksson's stuff, but big enough to be interesting. -JSM (...) <SNIP> (21 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick)

  Proposed standard for Mini/Micro Moonbase

Here's a standard I came up with for a 16x16 module size. This allows quite a bit more detail than the 8x8 standard, yet it's still small enough to allow many modules with limited pieces.   Re: Proposed Micro/Nano-fig Moonbase Standard

(...) Excellent, that's perfect. I don't like the idea of having a ton of standards though. I'm thinking minifig, and microfig, and that be it. Of course, you could make larger modules, 8x8, 8x16, 16x16, etc. As long as your connectors are centered (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)
