Nice work, SciBrick and Joe Meno. I thought BrickFestPDX was great...and of
course I loved seeing all those mini-scale MOCs.
Joe Meno...I really enjoyed meeting you and must say that your enthusiasm for
SciBrick is unparalleled. You're a great ambassador for this group.
Whereas I do not know the entire mission of SciBrick, I really like what appears
to be the educational-scientific-LEGO building tie-in. For example, rather than
just a bunch of air and space MOCs, the MOC's were arranged to form a timeline
of the history of flight.
Another great example was that the space MOCs that Joe shepherded/guarded
throughout the event were based on fact rather than fantasy...all the way up to
Joe's Viking lander (and the Spirit rover set assembled by ?). I thought the
display showed that space was cool. I also liked the photos of real planets in
the background.
It's great to see a new club form, and extra-cool if it continues in this
educational-fun vein.

I need to thank all the planes and builders that 'flew in,' as my expectations were exceeded in many ways with the assortment of MOCs (like your dirigible and hangar) and quality of building.
