Joe Meno...I really enjoyed meeting you and must say that your enthusiasm for
SciBrick is unparalleled. You're a great ambassador for this group.

Thanks! What more can I say?

Whereas I do not know the entire mission of SciBrick, I really like what appears
to be the educational-scientific-LEGO building tie-in.  For example, rather than
just a bunch of air and space MOCs, the MOC's were arranged to form a timeline
of the history of flight.

I need to thank all the planes and builders that 'flew in,' as my expectations
were exceeded in many ways with the assortment of MOCs (like your dirigible and
hangar) and quality of building.

So (taking a deep breath), Thank you: Derek Schin, Joseph Sebilia-Young, Kim
Toll, Reinhard "Ben" Beneke, Robin Warner, (you) Ashley, and everyone else who
helped make the Flyin a success! And to those who participated, drop me a note
and your address:)

Special thanks to Shane Larson for single-handedly building the US spacefleet:)
and to Paula Padilla at JPL for providing waay too many posters and materials
for this Fest, so they'll be at the next one:)

Another great example was that the space MOCs that Joe shepherded/guarded
throughout the event were based on fact rather than fantasy...all the way up to
Joe's Viking lander (and the Spirit rover set assembled by ?).  I thought the
display showed that space was cool.  I also liked the photos of real planets in
the background.

Kelly McKeiran built the Spirit rover!

It's great to see a new club form, and extra-cool if it continues in this
educational-fun vein.

Thanks so very much for your comments. I have been surprised and delighted by
how SciBrick is becoming known by the community and the LEGO Company.

And trust me, thisis only the beginning:)
