Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

(...) Let's work together on this then. I've got some ideas too. Perhaps we could look after 68,69,82,83,96, and 97? (...) Sorry. I should have posted a link or picture. It's the baseplate from (among others) 1682 (an awesome set BTW!): (URL) better (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

(...) That sounds good to me...I'm nuts about streams & waterfalls all of a sudden (especially since it rained like crazy). If there are no strong objections, I'll see what I can do to add some flavour to the scenery. As for changing baseplates (at (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

One (minor) change I'd suggest we make to the layout. The mountain will be along plates 69, 83, and 97. Some of it can even extend to 96, I would hope. My thought was to use the rest of 96, and perhaps some of 68 as an "outdoor" area, with trees, a (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

I've grabbed some of the water baseplate spaces, including the island in the middle (#32). I'm going to build a lighthouse, with revolving light (micromotor), attached keeper's house, small dock, perhaps a seagull or two. I'll also build a boat with (...)   Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

In the interest of keeping all this building organized, and in my hopes of completely covering the entire layout with baseplates instead of resorting to cloth covering, I've tried to organize a building layout file in similar fashion to our train (...)   Re: I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

(...) I don't quite follow you here. (...) The control track has three positions, forward (let the monorail run straight through), reverse (reverse direction immediately), and stop (stop the monorail until one of the other two positions are (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

(...) Right you are. I'm blind as a bat today ... But yes, I've got 2 sets of each, so we're covered. Robin (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

(...) No, it won't. I do, however, have a catalog that shows the entire line of Lego' Track and bits... Would that be better? Maybe not... No, my laminator will only do up to recipe card size..
