  It's confirmed...

Yes... it's confirmed... I'm selling my sofa to make room for LEGO... (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

(...) I managed to piggy back my order from yesterday. I ordered some of the goodies. They are all backordered until Nov. 21st. They are on the Lego Ship. So you can order them now as long as you use Real Lego Reps and not the ordering service. Dean (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

(...) The original post about the new parts came from someone who had received the US Holiday catalog: when she tried to order from it S@H said she couldn't it wasn't supposed to be out yet. So we may have to wait just a while. Kevin ---...--- (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

(...) Yes, they now notice the AFOL market. That's why the 'parts packs' have shrunk in number and grown in size and cost. They know us AFOL's will dump $30USD ($45CDN) on a pack for one or two parts... But at least the Train packs only contain (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

(...) Yes, totally. I'd like to see them in all colours. 100 packs would be VERY useful. I could build a few projects I've been dying to build now with the influx of new goodies.   Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

(...) WOW GREY DOORS AND WINDOWS! Yes, I haven't used my free shipping yet, but I will be very soon! (Within the next week) I'd be honoured to have such marvelous parts arrive in a huge box delivered to my house. :) But seriously, if you/we're (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

(...) Agreed, I am rather amazed and pleased... I normally don't Me Too posts but this one wasn't posted where Brad was likely to see it so I FUT lugnet.lego.direct. Maybe the Train people got (some of) what we wanted because we asked nicely and (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: New layout from meeting is up.

(...) I won't be able to do anything substantial until tomorrow night. I'll upload an idea or two then. Robin (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: New layout from meeting is up.

(...) On the Edit menu, there's a wonderful little feature that I discovered called "Refresh Supports". Try it, your hands will thank you. :-) Robin (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

Plus, note that the black wagon plate is a full 28 studs. I never in a million years would have expected them to offer exactly the special pieces we asked for. In fact, I had heard a rumor that there were certain (now offered) elements they would (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: [Fwd: Re: Train Windows and Doors]

OMG! Holy @#%! I guess that makes that spare case of 5542's unnecessary :) This is so cool! Now all we need is bulk 1x2 gray corrugated and gray 1x4 curve top bricks so I can make more Amfleet coaches. KL (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: New layout from meeting is up.

(...) I've uploaded a newer version with all the stations removed. They were all orphaned. I'll look at working on the road tomorrow. Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

OK guys, check this out! Does anyone have their free shipping left? We need to place an order so big the gods will notice us again!   Re: New layout from meeting is up.

(...) Good job sir, I'll look it over tomorrow when my hands have cooled down. I think we got the most of it hammered out. Robin with his Monorail magic can set up the Rail and we can get road and buildings down... Woohoo. Dean -- Coin-Op's For (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

New layout from meeting is up.

...On the X drive with a name v-K0009K.tdl. Just track, I have not changed any of the baseplates, they will need moving around, and I took the monorail track off. When I had to adjust the whole track layout WRT the baseplates and I selected it all, (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Joint NALUG-VLC show? (was: Re: Supertrain - I plan to go)

(...) In theory I'd be interested but in practice there's no way I'd be able to get over to Calgary. Nice idea though!   Joint NALUG-VLC show? (was: Re: Supertrain - I plan to go)

This is a long shot, but hey, I'll try anything... Would anyone in VLC be interested in helping us with a layout at the Supertrain show in Calgary (Feb 17-18)? NALUG has been invited, but not all of us can attend. The real need just one more person (...)   Re: Meeting this weekend - proposal

I'll also bring a tape measure (for sure) and straightedge (if I can find it), although with string, the straightedge will be less important. Robin (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Meeting this weekend - proposal

(...) I've got a couple of rolls of masking tape, but as I was thinking a little further, why not just use lengths of string or yarn, which would be less expensive, taped down at corners, and say 3 ft intervals. The advantage is that we could easily (...) (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
