These general questions (even follow-up questions) should be directed to
everyone. Someone else may have a better answer. Remember, you're talking to a
large group of people.

hmm. bad idea. That REALLY won't do what you want. And it could be bad for the
RCX.
You can't easily control four separate motors from a single RCX.

First, are you really sure that's what you want?
It sounds like you want to be able to move forward/back or left/right.
A common use for a joystick would be to drive two motors, like a tank.
So, when you press the stick forward, both motors go forward.
Stick backward, motors backward.
Stick to the right, left motor forward, right motor back.
Stick to the left, left motor back, right motor forward.
If that's what you want, you only need two motors.
If you really need four motors, you'll need another RCX. Talk to Chris. He has
extras. :)
And I doubt I'll make the next dinner. I don't think most of these guys want to
see me that much... :)

| Steve- This is a bad habit of mine, not finishing my thoughts. My full question is, You've heard how I have connected the touch sensors to the input ports. Likewise, I did the same to connect four motors to the output ports. My problem is, I want it (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
