FT 4.5V technic motor —Calum Tsang
In my ongoing quest to be 9V vs 4.5V, I found a 4.5V Technic motor plus some 4.5V wiring cables. Anyone interested in trading for a used 9V original or gear motor? Calum (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I'm not entirely sure what you're proposing - I read this as saying you already have a 4.5V motor, but want a 9V on instead. If this is the case, I'll trade you one. I have 12 of the 9V geared motors, but none of the 4.5V variety. Matthias (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) K, here's a question somewhat related... rtlToronto 'bot rules say that LEGO bricks cannot be modified in any way. But we all accept that we can cut pneumatic hose for our 'bots (if used) and other things like that. Those old 4.5 v motors use (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Unlike other organizations, we're pretty flexible. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Yes, that's what I'm proposing. Do you have 4.5V cables etc? I'll bring said motor to next dinner if I can remember after woozily returning home. Calum (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: FT 4.5V technic motor —Matthias Jetleb
(...) Hmmm. I have several of the old 1960's/1970's motors (set 122 comes to mind) with the battery boxes and cables. Do your 4.5V technic motors use the same cable? I suppose, either way, I could use some more if you have extras. See you at the (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
