Yes, within reason. Ie, if you show up with 15 ft of hose, we'll know it
wasn't from a Lego set. Similarily if you show up with a giant fan belt, it
probably wasn't a Lego rubber band. Unlike other organizations, we're
pretty flexible.

No. You could run a 4.5V subsystem off a separate 4.5V battery pack, but I
don't think grafting cables is within the terms of the competition.

| (...) K, here's a question somewhat related... rtlToronto 'bot rules say that LEGO bricks cannot be modified in any way. But we all accept that we can cut pneumatic hose for our 'bots (if used) and other things like that. Those old 4.5 v motors use (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
