Hey Dave...I've got one word for you....E-bay!!!
I know the sets on there can be very expensive....personally, I've only
gotten one train in the store...the sorriest train ever, 4561 Express Train...
that was my first train I got...started my Lego Binge Collecting.....
yikes....I don't know what's worse having wet dreams about Superliners...or
Binge Collecting.........
And I'm almost have all the 9V trains. I think if you are going to start
to be "into" trains a must have set is the Metroliner and the Freight
and Crane Railway....also have one or two level crossings and a train
station....if you want to be into it a big way, get the bigger train
stations....I went little and bought the town junior train station.
It looks nice enough for my taste, and it isn't overly big....my
police stations, my port, and my airport complex already tax my real
estate enough....

| I'll be at the train show, but don't have much to contribute (unless you go monorail, have lots of monorail track, though my switches are being very tempermental :( ) but I want to see all the rolling stock and LEGO just being LEGO w/o technic (...)
