It's really hard to stack two blocks on top of each other... tried about 5
times and gave up but this is tres cool!

Dave: Thanks for sharing this!

I'm re-evaluating the grabbing mechanism this weekend...  but I'm not home
so it'll prob'ly be monday before I get it on the 'bot.

I just used the same grabber mechanism I used in my block stacking 'bot many
moons ago, but it appears not to work as well here.

As well, the 'bot appears to be stuck on something--since I'm not home right
now, I can't tell what it could possibly be--prob'ly stuck on its own wires...

Indeed. I tried to unstick it just now but no luck. It will rotate a little
bit but won't move. Jaws work. The old NASA trick of shaking the jeepers out
of it to see if it will break free didn't work.

Can you post (or refresh memory of) some pics of the bot itself?

I'll get some pics up soon... I built a new 'bot this weekend, which is
identical to the 'bot at home--except the gripping mechanism which seems to
be better.  When I get home (I'm in Toronto right now, visiting the better
looking half), either tonite or tomorrow night, I'll attach it to the 'puter.

Here's the sad news--digital cameras and ceramic floors don't mix.

Yes, after 4.5 years and 8000 pictures, my Kodak DC120 is *slightly* damaged
:(  Oh, it still takes pictures (as far as I can tell), but the digital
display on the back of the camera is broken :(  By the way, if any
technophile has contacts with anybody who may have old digital cameras, I
need a display for my DC120.

So there you are.

I'll take pics of my 'bot later today and upload them.
