Measurements expressed in millimeters, inches, or LEGO units would be
appreciated.

No really, please request in SI. We have to push Calum to use SI. You would
think as an engineer he'd use the world convention, but no.

::push push::             :)

Well, you'll never hear dots out of me for anything in reality (ie, you'll
never hear me say "the rtl19 playfield is 996 dots long") but you will hear
imperial for stuff made of wood.  That's largely because for anyone else
interested in building their own or trying to visualize, it's easier to say
"the playfield is 4x8' plywood" or "the monkeybar rungs are at six inch
intervals" instead of whatever thousand millimeters.  Since most of the
stuff we deal with in rtlToronto (plywood, copper pipe, tubing) is sold in
imperial units, it makes no sense to resort to SI, since the engineering
world of Home Depot sells them in inches. :)

I'll use SI for the Brickfest presentation, if only to keep things Canadian.

Calum

Right, but the issue is that robot size, gap between tables, etc... there's NO REASON WHATSOEVER that shouldn't be in SI. None. Very dissapointing. (...)
