I never liked math either, but they wouldn't give me the engineering degree
without it. Hence the loads of statistics, multivariate calculus,
engineering analysis I (aka, Vector Calculus, I hear MechE students get to
take II as well), lin alg, and then all the applied math courses (op
research (ie, fun with linear programming or How the World Can be
Represented as Matrix), statistical quality control (How the World is a
distribution plot), design of experiments (How the World is Hypothesis Testing).
