I was playing around with the log files on my Apache wevbserver (and if anyone
can give me some great website that explains how to set up the access and error
log files nicely, it'd be appreciated) and I parsed the last 4 days for Sparky's
Space.

The highlights include--

Right off the top--most visited--my Elin page  116 hits over the past 4 days,
but that's neither here nor there.

Train pages ranked seccond thru whatever

Main train page--90 hits
Rolling stock page - 67 hits
Virtual Train page - 57 hits
Track Mods - 55 hits
DCC - 37 hits

Found this one curious, considering I don't have much on these pages--my
Pneumatics--27 hits in 4 days.
Spybotics - 24 hits

Recent toy show - 19 hits
Recent train show - 13 hits

Rob should be plesantly surprised that his site on my webserver is generating
pretty good numbers as well--
Main page -- 52 hits
Robot page -- 29 hits
Firefighter - 23 hits
Ideas - 21 hits

An equally intersting bit but not related to LEGO is that my Sports Night
page--one little page with 2 pictures-- 30 hits
My little Sailor Moon page--54 hits--there's still 'moonies' out there!

Anyway, thought this was intersting and decided to share.

(...) snipped the interesting stats (...) Glad you did as well. (...) Watching the log files can be addicting..... I love to see the hit increase after a moc posting to Lugnet. Janey "Red Brick" (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) What do you want to set it up to do? Just to analyze it? I use both webalizer and awstats, both have their nice points. (URL) Dan Boger dan@peeron.com (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
