Well Mr. 'In the Know' Tsang, what did I do this past weekend?

-no really, what did I do this weekend--is a blur, can't really remember...

Duh, you added another web cam to your web server.

BTW, it's very cool to be able to see the robot from another perspective.

Can that robot lift a backhoe?  :)

Steve

I don't know how they did it, but someone dragged that backhoe halfway across
the arena.

Not that I'm challenging others to do so, but it was weird coming home and
seeing the backhoe not where I left it.

Something about a telepresence 'bot in the house makes things somewhat
interesting...

Now I just need a plan... shot of bourbon... little shut-eye... (1) to see what
I want to do with 2 webcams.

2 separate 'bots is what I really want, but what would they do?  Would 2
stacking 'bots in the same arena be fun?  Would an overhead 'bot on a crane arm
so you can move the overview camera around be fun?  I have no idea what the 2nd
cam could do...

Oh, the 'bot camera is operating off the web server--P2-300, the overview camera
is running off a P133, so that's where the latency between the two images is.

But it's all fun so who  really cares?

-Friday at 2 p.m. - dug hole down to weeping tiles at friends house to find
reason for leaky basement--quotes like "Nice crack..." were spoken often.
-Friday at 6 p.m. - Played Starcraft until midnight
-Saturday at 9 a.m. - went for coffee.
-Saturday after coffee--picked up stereo equipment
-5 p.m. help set up for friends Stag and Doe at Legion Hall.
-Played music all night ("DJ DK"), will never listen to friend who stated that
the Evervesence song was a slow number--yeah, that was trash if I ever heard it.
Few good things--got to play at least two songs from 'Ferris Bueller' and even a
Supertramp song to boot, and my personal favourite slow song--"At This Moment"
(I really have to stop living in the '80's...)  Liszt's 'Duelling Pianos'
(a.k.a. Hungarian Rhapsody #2) was also played (by me) during the coin tosses.
I can really pick the tunes....
-3 a.m. got home after cleaning up the hall.
-Sunday-2 p.m. Easter dinner at Papas.  Til around 8-9ish.  Went home and read
Dragonlance until sleepy.
-Monday--basically sporadic thru the day worked on train layout and web cam and
listened to Jazz FM.
4 glorious days off.

There, I remember my weekend.

Thanks for the nudge in the right direction...
