  1776

Did you know that there are one thousand seven hundred and seventy six steps leading from the ground level to the observation deck in the CN tower? Guess what I'm doing on Sunday. It's amazing what I will agree to when someone with a nice set of (...) (21 years ago, 24-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Frankenstein-like walking monster on LEGO.com

Congratulations! I saw it yesterday by pure luck (don't visit the club much). Looks good. (21 years ago, 24-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  7470 Shuttle model

Hey guys, So, even though Derek doesn't believe I can actually go out and buy a Lego set without returning it, or at least deliberating on it on four separate visits to Mastermind Toys, I went and got the 7470 Space Shuttle Discovery model last (...)   Re: RE : 4400 Stock

(...) You can rule out the Wal-Mart in Woodstock, ON. I had a friend check there last night. What I find hard to understand is that these tubs suddenly appear. Then just a few days later are "hard to find". What kind of company sells product like (...) (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Frankenstein-like walking monster on LEGO.com

(...) Not only a very cool thing to have your work displayed on the LEGO.com site, but I was also impressed by how much your work kept to the overall style of the series. Well done! Allan B. (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 12 x 886 Space Buggy

(...) Personally I was inspired when I saw someone's else pile of scaled up bricks. Scale 10 seems to be the standard. I've also done some 2x scale up's of a few sets, just to get in the hang of thinking "upscale". (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Frankenstein-like walking monster on LEGO.com

Hi everybody, A few months ago, members of rtlToronto, including myself, were approached by LEGO Direct to come up with a “scary monster” for Halloween using only parts from the new Inventor sets: 4093 Wild Wind Ups (URL), and 4094 Motor Movers (...)   RE : 4400 Stock

G'Day Does anyone know of any stores with stock? ( In the GTA.) So far no luck in Brampton(x2) or Square One. Cheers Oliver I am looking at getting 4 of these. (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So who's up for it?

(...) Yeah I agree as well, There is just too much stuff happening between now and the end of the year. Besides I dont think we got any further with the train 6 design, other then modeling some layouts in 4 x 4 plates... Jeff VW (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So who's up for it?

(...) I agree with this--I just wanted a general consensus before I said "no". I'll leave it open for discussion for a few more days, but Monday I'll call and, unless we can pull a rabbit out of a hat, it'll be a 'no go'. But I'll also mention to (...)   Re: 4400 Red Creator Tub

Heck, I just wanted the red tubs before this inventory was posted ;-) Anyone willing to swap some empty red tubs/lids with some of my blue, if these don't make it to the US? (...) (...) I'm really trying to share. (hence, this thread) In fact, I'm willing to admit that my software can currently go 7 ply deep, for the complex middle-game moves, in under 30 seconds. That should be able to beat: move=rnd(7) Now, I just need to (...) (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
