Re: How many people have a capacitor?

(...) Okay, the fun event is not, lick the capacitor (or Bruce for that matter), it's like, a series of ongoing mini-games from month to month. Ie, next month, the challenge might to build a capacitor powered machine to clear regularly spaced (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: How many people have a capacitor?

(...) Would this - (URL) - cap' be big enough? Can anyone say 'Mega Farad'? Note the warping on that 3/4 inch plywood base :) Ivan (21 years ago, 21-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: team Magno NOW accepting applications

LAST call for applicants. I've received a few real honest reply's, (above the usual abuse I get here) I've already selected a "new to lego" C programmer who works for ATI. I still have spots for 1 more software coder, and 2 hardware guru's Kevin, (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What is shaping up to be the most posted-on rtl event in the history of rtl events....

(...) exactly at what post did Monique become AA??? she HATES lego. NO, I'm sorry. I built my Project X, I programmed my Project X bot. I almost lost my marriage to that game. (...) OR he could have done what I told him From DAY ONE!!! pre scan the board, and use my (TM) Kevin C. approved code. Chris (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What is shaping up to be the most posted-on rtl event in the history of rtl events....

(...) This just shows how spiffily different we all are... The programming used in X seems fairly straighforward (conceptually) to me... just scan the board to see what's there and put things from where they ain't supposed to be to where they is. (...)   Re: What is shaping up to be the most posted-on rtl event in the history of rtl events....

(...) You have to think it out a bit how to structure the program as a set of loops. This is compounded by some oft he limtiations of the RCX firmware. I think the basic one is, very roughly: Imagine all the squares in a line. 16x1 array. Make an (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What is shaping up to be the most posted-on rtl event in the history of rtl events....

(...) The programming was far beyond my capability. That's why I said it was hard. How it *wasn't* impossible for anyone else is beyond me. I simply do not understand that kind of logic in programming, at all! Where do you even start? Iain (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What is shaping up to be the most posted-on rtl event in the history of rtl events....

(...) I don't understand why I keep hearing about Project X being hard. It's not "easy", but it's one of the easiest game I have participated. I think prj. X and bridge crossing had the highest number of contestant, and most of them were successful. (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: What is shaping up to be the most posted-on rtl event in the history of rtl events....
