  Re: lives

(...) Ben- I am a bit confused by your statement, "I don't think that would be possible." Am I kicked out of the group? I hope not. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Dave- Did you hear about the bombing in Bombay? It's really scary. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto15 January issues

(...) I think you've got a good idea here. If we build it right, we wouldn't have to rebuild it to have a different maze for subsequent rounds, we could just mark different paths through the maze. I don't like the idea of having more then one (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) /me rise hand (...) Yes. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: lives

(...) I don't think that would be possible. It doesn't take too long to figure the Organizational Culture of rtlToronto is to be the "most unfriendly place on the web" which is the opposite of the LUGNET goal of trying to be the friendliest place. (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Hey guys- I understand that you all got your own lives to live, and that they don't revolve around me. Anyway, I am sitting at home on my computer, just roaming around (like Ben). Hope you guys have fun, and aren't offended enough not to let me (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  apologies

Guys- Sorry for the rude remark. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: hello

(...) seeing that 90% of postings from rtl come during the workday, when they should be... ugghh ...working, why would they start to send a plethora of postings after hours? The amount of postings after 5:00pm and on weekends tends to be small to (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: rtlToronto14 AC issue and entrants

(...) I just picture el tubbo flying his x-wing saying 'stay on target... stay on target...' before he blew up real good... "stay on topic!! stay on topic!!" says Calum. K, I'll stay on topic--I have all this room, the layout, and lotsa bricks, but (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Iain -- Yes Dave A -- Yes Derek (#2) -- probably yes if he ever stops lurking. Chris Still on topic, AND gets in potty reference # 2 <---Oh man... the double Duce!!! did ya see that? (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: hello

(...) As one of the most active groups on LUGNET, this type of e-mail might seem to others as a bit offensive. As well, 7:52 p.m. is mayhaps not the best time to look for additional posts from fellow RTL'ers--they probably just got home from a long (...) Hello? Anyone out there? Chris? Calum? (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: rtlToronto14 AC issue and entrants

(...) Yes, sure why not. I will follow in Jeff VW footsteps. Just build a prototype of some sort. Dave (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto15 January issues

(...) Okay, except it looks like most people will have ABS black pipe. (...) That's true :) The deal with that is that you have to be clear of the joint to know you're on the right path. Without a "path checker" out front, there's a 50% of chance (...) (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto15 January issues

(...) I mentioned the following solution at BrickFest, but I'll post it here again: If you were to combine the Canadian pipe and the US pipe you have, another solution is to have the 'correct path' be all black Canadian PVC, and all the 'wrong' (...)   rtlToronto14 AC issue and entrants

Okay, So, I'm reading: Chris Bruce Iain Trevyn Rob Me Are trying to put together robots for rtlToronto14. Any others? Also, for those intending to play, vote on: Yes or No: AC adapters allowed. (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto15 January issues

(...) That's the other benefit of having secondary paths-not reducing the game to sumo. A single decision up front to go onto an alternate path allows a competitor to avoid a sumo like game. Calum (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
