Re: The usual shot of Chris with a Train...

(...) PUSHED? Ha! My robot drove itself off the edge, just like it did in the match with David A's! Of course I spent very little time figuring out what to do once I got on top of the hill (sure, sure :-). In retrospect just squatting on the box (...) (...) <snip> (...) Heyyyyy.... I never thought of it, but I think the same thing happened to me, those times when my robot stopped *just* as it was climbing on top! Darn it, we'll have to re-run the event. Jeff E (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: name that tune

(...) Plast-Ex rocked! (...) It's a cover of the Duran Duran song, "Ordinary World", I think ca 1992. Ill fated comeback album IIRC. Calum (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

The usual shot of Chris with a Train...

Sorry, I didn't get one. Chris has become highly suspicious of offers to inspect train cars near cameras. Luckily, Bruce is still easily duped: (URL) Bruce! Jeff E (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto 13 event pics

Hi folks, I've posted all my photos from the event - I think I've got personality shots of most competitors and their bots, plus a smattering of other ones. They're 1600x1200 'cuz I haven't had the time to downscale them yet. (URL) E (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: name that tune

(...) Ahh, May 2001. Plast-Ex 2001. Introduction to Topscan. Good times are had by all. Aurora - "Ordinary World" (I have a nagging feeling that I might have used a remix of that tune or something. Look about, that'll give you something to start (...) (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  name that tune

  Re: Where oh Where...

(...) <snip> (...) Between sleeping too well ;) and replacing rad hoses on the pickup (I awoke to a big puddle of anti-freeze under my vehicle), I didn't make it to The Big Smoke.   Re: NEXT GAME

I think we said 20 black and 20 white pieces, and the box would be filled to 5.08cm (for Iain) with rice. Bruce (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  NEXT GAME

OK, I've already talked about the software that was written by Steve. He loosely explained how the software worked; then boasted about how he wrote it. Everything was fine and suspicion free....   Where oh Where...

Oh I'd be interested in coming down for sure, but with 2 kids (2 years and 4 years) free time is hard to come by, I'v been trying to come down/watching dates for about a year, and have yet to be able to hit an event.   Programming help tomorrow

<supress competitive sarcasm> Hi guys, I was wondering if I could get some help for a friend of mine.
