My plea to save the stackers

Since no one saw my earlier post, I'm going to give it another try: I would really like one more stackers competition. I love the challenge of this game, and I haven't quite got it out of my system. Anyone else want to save the stackers? Iain? (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Thanks

(...) Good good! I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait until next September! By the time June comes around, I should be ready to go again. By the way, did anyone see my earlier post about stacking?? Am I the only one that wants to do it one more (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Photos please!

Hi folks, Please mail me all the digital photos/video clips you took at the rtlToronto 7 event. You can mail tsangc@mie.utoronto.ca, or @home.com. If they're over 4MB of photos, email me and we can arrange to upload them somewhere. The first batch (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Event Operations and what I noticed...

One thing I've noticed is that everyone gets something different out of events-someone might see a mechanical challenge, another, a programming problem. Some think of it an afternoon of fun. What I get out of rtlToronto events, literally, is the joy (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Thanks

(...) Yes. One event. That or two events but one has to be ridiculously easy to run. Ie, both should run on the playfield. No more of this coffee table stealing business. (...) Check out the video: (URL) really impressed by that game because the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Not so! Several Lego Models use strings (usually with hooks attached), but it should be considered a legal part. Fishing line; probably not, but string and elastic bands should be OK. Matthias Jetleb VA3-MWJ (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Thanks

(...) Here's a half-a-thought: Start with a building say 5 rooms wide by 5 floors tall and two rooms wide all built out of Lego. Each room is large enough for a pingpong or golf ball. The building is built to a pre-established size that is known to (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  DDK/MS game?

Since a lot of people have a DDK now (because of the cheap discounted DDK's at TRU)...is there any interest in a silly DDK game? Or is there not enough programmability for a DDK game? Calum (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
