  Re: A large yellow building

(...) <snip> (...) Benjamin - I can give you some data... (Iain - brace yourself) For about 1.5 years I worked in a building just S of Summerhill station, on Price St. This building is remarkably not only for its awful 1950s exterior, but because (...)   Re: A large yellow building

(...) Thanks! I was thinking of using corrogated yellow brick, because I have a pile from two 4559's I got many years ago, but I couldn't find enough of it. I also considered using gray corrogated brick from this Mos Espa Podrace (aka, Spare Parts (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Calum, it looks great.I like the fact it has to straddle(sp?) the track. As someone who hates yellow(I use it for fill or trade/sell away) it looks good.I tryed building with yellow and was never happy with the way it came out. (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: A large yellow building

(...) I think it is a lot better than the blue building...definitely. My (first) thought though is that it has a look of the buildings around union station. An older-type building which has had to be accommodating to rail traffic. If you really (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Howdy....nice stuff you got there Andreas. Its been a while since I saw your stuff last time. I think I bought the 4559 Cargo Train from you (via E-bay). Its a nice addition, and I only have used it a couple times since I bought it... (2nd (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: A large yellow building

I like it, Calum. Nice use of space and fantastic interior detailing. A small suggestion would be to incorporate a cornice or perhaps some ornamental pieces to add texture to the side of the building. Thanks for sharing. Nicely done. Build well, (...)   A large yellow building

Hi folks, A long time ago, I built a horrible blue building with the goal of spanning a piece of Lego track. I couldn't finish it, and by the time rtlToronto/train2 rolled around, it was nothing but a big empty foundation and structure: (URL) the (...)   Lamp Recomendation

Ikea: Iviken, Non I picked up two Iviken's (one for me, one as a gift for parents) and a Non tonight. I'm very impressed with the Iviken. The Non is a little less than I expected, but it's less than $10 and I supose if I bought four I could really (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Names

(...) I think Mario and I were going as the "xEmployees"...but I figure we should get a working robot first before thinking of the big naming thing. Calum (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
