My baby (monkey) took its first "step"

Well, since some people have been bragging about the success of 16 1/4" robots, and others have built the ferris wheel bot then i feel i can add that as of last night, using one task (so far) my monkey has removed one claw from the bar and reached (...)   Victor does Lego

I was just scanning some stuff.... reading Iain's page for anything new, and "found" his project page.... (which shows how lightly I scan web pages...) ;-) (to Iain): very, nice projects.....wish you could bring some of them to shows like Train (...)   Re: Its Alive!

(...) quoting Al Borland from "Home Improvement": "I don't think so Tim..." or in this case......Lar ++ I don't think there will be too many "style" points given out.... most of the officials are looking for raw competition...... I know I will be (...) (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Its Alive!

(...) Are there going to be style points awarded? I think using the Mindstorms software should get some points (from the "too stubborn to use the best tool" envelope), if you're giving them out. ps, i thought at least in the RIS 1.0 version of the (...)   Its Alive!

My Monkey Lives! but then it died... But now it Lives Again! I was programing my monkey yesterday morning. I got it to run through a full sequence, which will advance it two bars. But I had to go to work so I didn't get the repeat loop added so it (...) (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My monkey is big.

(...) I agree with Calum, bring your entry as is. I don't have a problem with it. Getting back to our earlier discussion about the spirit of the competition. If we are going to exclude entries because they fit the rules but break the spirit, we (...) (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Moment of Zen

(...) I agree....but I also think the Rob is sick of reading Bionicle posts in the technic section....it is based on Technic but off on a far tangent. Let's just hope that Lego is right, and Bionicle will start a brand new generation of Lego (...) (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My monkey is big.

(...) Hey Trevyn, I'll stick in the comment here that no one has ever measured ANYTHING at an rtlToronto event. There's no money involved, no national fame at the end, so I personally wouldn't go out of the way considering it's two days out to rtl9 (...) (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
