  Re: Train2 Modules

Here are four I took this morning. The easy two modules are landscaped, and part of the village has been prototyped, but the Big Ugly Mountain Module is barely started. That's this weekend. Some bridge prototypes: (URL) like the gray plates framing (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

(...) 1x2's are not 1" x 2", yes, and Iain would probably chime in with how stupid Imperial measurements are if he wasn't on vacation right now. But your module should be: 3/8" (MDF or Ply top) 1.5" (middle skirt of 1x2" on end) 0.75" (bottom skirt (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

I believe the answer to this is Yes (for me any how) All of my modules are 3/4+1&1/2+3/8 (2 5/8 Cool I can still do fractions!) (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules

(...) Hi Tim, JeffVW I believe is doing the corner OpenC1. I should put out a new module map with that change, but you can still take three modules without the corner, there'll probably be balancing out on the other side. I should probably ask (...)   Re: Train2 Modules

Yeah, I'd love to chat about construction techniques, etc. I can just imagine how many bricks you're going through right now. That was a pretty impressive layout you outlined on Brickshelf. Have you got any more pictures to tease us with? Play well. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

Well, I cut all my 1x2's to the correct length, sanded them all down and the plywood too, and then went to put them together. Doh! Who would have guessed that a 1x2 was not really a 1x2? It's actually only 0.75x1.5!?!? This might not come as a (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Jude (1) Should this be cross posted to .o-t.pun? (2) ;-) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

My Bridges & module prototypes (was Re: bridge)

Further to my other post, here are two pics of prototype bridges for the JeffEB1 and JeffEB2 that I'm building. The slab-sided one actually has insets; yes, there are better colours for this than black; no, I don't have 34 1x4x3 panel pieces in any (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
