Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto20 Near Final Ruleset

(...) duh :) I do know how to print. The rules pages are always a major pain though, as the text always gets clipped off no matter how I scale it. Some of the formatting that works on the screen fails when rendering for the printer. Reading Calum's (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto20 Near Final Ruleset

(...) The text prints okay as Landscape 8.5x11 on IE. The large drawings flop either or onto each page, but the width keeps the onscreen formatting. I've actually been considering going to an all Acrobat rule format and laying out the pages in (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto20 Near Final Ruleset

(...) Calum, Thank you for maintaining the web page, and doing the required updates. Rob, why do you need to print it? I have it memorized. If you do really need to print it, I guess you can use the "print" button in your browser, OR, try File Page (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto20 Near Final Ruleset

(...) Does anyone know how to get this to print out? I just can't make it fit anyhow because of the bizarre combination of divs and tables... -Rob A> (19 years ago, 12-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  [rtlToronto] rtlToronto20 Near Final Ruleset

So, we got the 5" of snow. The army is STILL not here yet. I WILL be coming to dinner. I will just be a little bit late.   Re: NQJ2? Re: NQJ - Brick It Forward - not goodbye, but adieu

(...) Here's my rationale: a) I thought that the "brick" rounds of NQJ1 were kinda stupid. When sets began to be traded, it actively became interesting because there was a reason for playing beyond random stupidity (though your tile is now AFOL (...)   Re: Talking Point: robot score and colour of blocks

(...) I see your point. As written the rule is not clear the blocks need to come from different robots. Saying "number of different blocks" doesn't work because two blocks, even of the same colour, are different blocks. Derek (19 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Talking Point: robot score and colour of blocks

Calum i was thinking of the system we will be using to generate a final score, and was wondering if it was made clear on the rule page, that the score is based on DIFFERENT COLOUR blocks that you have collected. ----snip from rules page---- Number (...) (...) Calum, you may be starting too big- you need to work up to it. (IMO). That being said, I've got a 4892 set- (URL) New in Open Box.   NQJ2? Re: NQJ - Brick It Forward - not goodbye, but adieu

(...) Can lightning strike twice? You know, I was skeptical about NQJ. But I'm surprised, it actually worked and in fact, everyone got something positive out of it. Once the leap to sets was made, NQJ or Set it Forward, was actually viable. So...I (...) (19 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

NQJ - Brick It Forward - not goodbye, but adieu

(sniff) Today, I have a jumble of emotions. I am both sad, and happy. It is with a sad heart that I have to announce the natural ending of Not Quite Jambalaya (aka Brick It Forward.) The 4483 AT AT was a nice set, but it was bound to happen. It was destiny. When Mike sent me an email trade offer, I could not believe my eyes. I had no idea it would happen so soon, so quick.
