Re: the deed as I see it.

(...) HECK, you have 12", and we havent decided on a HITW or SIZE of the HITW. so there is NOTHING to stop you from building as many inputs as you can cram into 12" cubed. (...) the more i think about it, the more i like this idea. your score is (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Iain needs set up on LUGNET help

Iain sent me this: ---...---snip---...--- Hey Chris, Do you think you could do me a favour? I moved at the begining of september, and I can't figure out at all how to configure lugnet to let me post from my new email address. Do you think you could (...)   Re: the deed as I see it.

(...) OK, I'm beginning to like this HITW idea. Seems more interesting and challenging than having open-top hoppers driving around (or standing still). Who's to say that your bot can't be a square, with 3 HITW, one on each side, and on the 4th side (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: the deed as I see it.

(...) I have no problem with getting any EOAT into the square hole when the 'bots are lined up properly. I have a huge problem with getting the 'bots to line up properly. for example, if you're little square hole 'bot was facing the exact opposite (...)   Re: the deed as I see it.

(...) Sorry Chris I didn't mean to say SMALL hole in my last post, I just thought that the whole fact of doing the transaction might be a a little hard, unless both robots are co-operating (one waiting, the other unloading). Very nice creation, (...) (20 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

the deed as I see it.

I did up my own MOC as what the standard MIGHT look like, sorry for the colours. i am running out of all black. (URL) CLEARLY these bot could NEVER win, but it gives and idea of what i see the HITW standard to look like. i mean, heck its HUGE if you (...)   Re: Mating Game - moc up

(...) wow, its like this game is mimicking REAL LIFE. shrug who new. your bot can have a rotating EOAT. that might solve some of your messy bits. Chris (20 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Mating Game - moc up

(...) YES!!! now we are getting somewhere. this is a bit of DUMB luck, AND smart building. 10 random bots, moving at VARIOUS speeds, will be a hoot to watch. since when are these games about "winning" i mean if you want a PRIZE for winning, then (...)   Re: Mating Game - moc up

(...) did you read my post where i said the hole can be BIG!!!!! i NEVER said SMALL HOLE STOP thinking SMALL HOLE we have a 12" cube to build in. and all we have to deliver is a 2x4 brick. a BIG hole is.... aw never mind. Chris. (20 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Mating Game - moc up

(...) DUH!!! DAVE!!! Rob S has shown an ALL LEGO way to do the same thing, by stacking lights on the switchs. AND you can have as many RCXen as you want and 3 inputs with 3 regular sensors would give you 3 sides with ONE rcx. your a smart guy. (...) (...)
