Re: Am I the only person who finds Lego CAD systems infuriating?

Re: Big Box with the Yellow Sticker of Joy

(...) I tried so hard to figure out how to spell that word. Finally had to give up and hope people could figure it out for me. fain would actually suggest a willing interest in something. But feign is definitely what I meant. (...) No problem. I'm (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Big Box with the Yellow Sticker of Joy

(...) Oh no, feigning interest would be like "Oh...what a nice Lego set you got...<looks down at cue cards>...it's much better than Cats".   Am I the only person who finds Lego CAD systems infuriating?

Seriously? I've never gotten the hang of any Lego CAD system, including LDD, MLCAD etc...I can't figure out how to do depth control with LDD for example. I've spent the last fifteen minutes trying to make bricks stick to the virtual baseplate...I (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto) !

Re: Big Box with the Yellow Sticker of Joy

(...) Well the one thing I was mildly interested in was how those boat steering wheels were used...like a photo of how they are used in the instructions? Calum (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Big Box with the Yellow Sticker of Joy

(...) I finally got a good look in the box. It sucks to get a package then have to wait 5 days to open it. And unlike Chris I don't have kids as an excuse, or cause, whichever is more appropriate. :-) So the box is big, but I think is the same size (...)
