  Re: 8865 and 8475

(...) So which hole did you use when you RC'd your 8466? I still couldn't totally duplicate your setup with mine built with the main chassis... (URL) because the RC motor won't clear some other parts of the car. (Not that it worked that well either) (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) Calum, thanks for doing what I had been trying to do! ;) Your pics match what I had counted so far - 2 bags - and now I know what's in the other 3 and can go ahead and stock my Bricklink store. :) Oh and these looks all old grays to me. (...) On your advice (and Tim's) I got a two strap and a three strap tub each: This is the three strap: (URL) decided to lay them out by bag, thinking the bags contents may be the same while the selection of bags was random. No such luck--the bags (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca, FTX)

(...) You got pink??? I want pink! I am trying to assemble enough pinks so I can build this cute little piggy: (URL) I got two 3534 (3-straps) bonus boxes. Could we trade?   Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) Mine was a one strap box ;-). It had lots of wings 'n' wedges in old grey (work that one out). It was a sweet box of joy. (...) only the old grey arches are similar). I had less printed pieces though. (...) WOW! Seems the only consistent thing (...)   Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) From what I see in front of me, and what I have read from other posts and BrickShelf descriptions, the 2-strap box/tub combo has a stamp of 2714 beside the barcode on the tub, and the 3-strap has a stamp of 3534. Which should make the 2714 tub (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: New Tub 4425

(...) This is a really weird set. First, it comes in a strange flattened container. It looks more like a trashcan than a regular tub. The top is like a Quattro container. JohnG and I went to find one at the Wal tonight and discovered the picture on (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) Was there a consensus on which box had the big arch part? Was that a two or three strap box? Darrell (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) ParLUGment has bought many 4679's in Ottawa and the concensus is that the 3-strap tub/box has the wings and wedges, and the 2-strap tub/box is the sweet box of joy. Also, as an added bonus, the 2-strap tub/box has OLD GREY inside the tub. Play (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) Hey Keith! A friend of mind told me he got the box with the minifigs head. So there is hope, but I think I will save my money for other sets. My new house is finished, thanks for asking.   Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) Hey Yanick! That's what I got! Two boxes of 3534! Not as great as those others that people in the States get, though. And by the way, how's your new house coming? And when will you re-open your Bricklink store? I like buying from you. ;) Keith (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca, FTX)

(...) Actually, yes, it's pretty similar. The nice ones have the rollup mechanism in the base. Those are above $1K each (a killing!)
