  Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto17 Final Rules

(...) It does: "At the turn end, the robot must clear the 18" Turn End tape line and not extend over the far table edge" I would interperate "must clear" means it needs to pass completely beyond the line. -Rob A. (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto17 Final Rules

Re: outta da way RCX, I want a TOPOBO

(...) Thanks for doing my homework for me, Ed! This does lead to the next question, though... did they get support from LEGO (in the form of some custom low volume moldwork or whatever) for their prototype plastic parts/housings? I think LEGO may (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: outta da way RCX, I want a TOPOBO

(...) I didn't see the film so can't say, but am I mistaken in thinking that the connectors looked like LEGO cross axles in some cases? (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Cell Phone Hell

I hear ya. When I moved out, I decided after a month that having a landline was stupid, becuase I'm rarely home. Well, at lease I won’t be the only one pulling a “Steve” on this one – I’m thinking of launching a harpoon kind of thing at the finish line and then reeling it back with a high-speed winch. Going to be RCX-less as well. ;) Ivan - A trained ape could (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
