This past weekend, August 18-19, QuéLUG was participating in a train show at Exporail - the Canadian Railway Museum in St-Constant, Québec. We had a 8'x45' layout (2,5 m x 13,5 m) featuring 3 train loops, 1 monorail loop, rural, residential and (...) (19 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.qc, lugnet.org.ca.quelug, lugnet.trains) !

So i was at the play ground with the kids, you know, playing on the monkey bars, when i realized that the game was SWINGing. so, off to the swing set i went. my question. anyone actually TRYED to swing from a stand still, WITHOUT touching the (...) (URL) Enders Game (which was brilliant, btw), Xenocide was my personal fav. of the series. I found that the Peter Wiggin/Bean books were more to do with politics and war (much like Bourne movies) and the Ender series to be more sci-fi--especially (...)
