LegOz 2000.5 & BrickWars (read naive questions)

Hi All, I can't wait for Sunday LegOz 2000.5 that is. Silly question time; I have lost the plot on the Brickwars rules thread (maybe I never had it to lose). Anyway, where can I find a base set of rules for what Brickwars is? And how much lego do I (...) (24 years ago, 1-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Impulse sets $1.45

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but Target have discounted their impulse sets to $1.95 [check at price-check points to verify] in Victoria [and being that all pricing is done at head office, probably all round Australia.], and with the 25% (...) Be very careful when it comes to visa debit cards, sounds more secure but look closer. If someone makes fraudulant charges on your regular charge card, you are only responsible for very little if any of the amount, you dispute the charge and the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  RE: ebay question

Well, the easiest alternative is to get a visa [or similar] debit card. Then you can only spend the money in whatever account you have it lnked to, and can't get yourself into debt on it...You can only spend money you already have. I've got one of (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Great!! This is 100% accurate and totally useless to me though!! I don't have a credit card, so probably wouldn't be allowed to register anyway. I'm not sure if this would be of great help, but when converting currencies I always use (URL) as they have a good conversion setup. IE you pick the currency you're in, the currency you're going to be in, and put in an amount, which is optional (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: ebay question

Thanks, I'm already registered with ebay [before they required those details] and have a couple of auctions underway, but was wondering if the 'no listing fee in Australia' covered auctions in $US which are originated in Aus. And for those in the US (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

DickSmith had advertised on the weekend the Mindsitoms "DDK" for $100, which I would by it for except for my current self-imposed money restriction. Aaron Coghill Kyola Department Emergency Services (URL) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: ebay question

Hi Ben, I recently had a heated discussion with people from ebay in Australia. Ebay has this new rule since Aug 1999 that all new sellers must give credit card details to be registered. This, I was happy to do but they refused to accept these (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Hi All, I spoke to the South East Qld Sales Rep today who states that the soccer lego prices are definitely NOT going up above their present price level, eg. 3409 at $54.95 is full price. I just laybyed two 3409's priced at $41.20 at the Target (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)
