Re: How are lugnet.loc.us... groups being used these days?

(...) Sorry Frank, I didn't see that post! I have not looked though the local Florida post for weeks, just not anything to read and like you have discovered it seems no one is looking in.   How are lugnet.loc.us... groups being used these days?

I'm curious. I was in Florida for 2.5 weeks and posted in lugnet.loc.us.fl and got no response at all. I have seen very little activity in the various lugnet.loc groups I follow. I sense that most local even planning is now done on private LUG or (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.org)

I, for one, wouldn't mind being included in the list of members on a tile. I could see how some people would want their own presence. Given that, I like both Frank's and Lar's ideas. (...) have most of the members put their 1x1 dots under the LUG's tile (obviously 0-3 wouldn't fit since the tile needs a stable 2x2 pad).   What type of LUG marker? (was Re: New Mosaic: Map of the USA)

Hm. Interesting thought. I'd prefer flags because they take up less real estate on the map (and if we have a lot of attendees from any given area, the map will be cluttered there.)
