  Indianapolis, Indiana LUGgers?

I moved to Indianapolis a few months ago and was wondering if there are any other potential LUGgers in the area. Contact me via e-mail at eric@northcomp.com or post to this group. Eric (25 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.us.in, lugnet.loc.us.in.ind, lugnet.org)

  PLUG officially founded - report

Hi! This afternoon I have met two other lugneteers here in Porto in order to found a new LEGO club in Portugal. It was a very profitable meeting, and this is a brief report. First of all, we have decided to call it PLUG (Portuguese Lego Users (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org, lugnet.announce, lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.loc.eu, lugnet.loc.br)

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on a few points I guess... (...) First I can only speek from experiance and that experiance is with NELUG.   Re: Brickfest, Westfest, Whateverfest

(...) I think is already been said but an International LEGO Train COnvention that moves across country (USA infered) doesn't sound very international. Second what is an "LTC-hosted city"?   Re: [[[[The future dynamic of AFOL]]]]

I'm amazed at how far we've come already, from the humble beginings on alt.toys.lego. It's a shame nobody (that I know of, anyway) has an archive of alt.toys.lego or rec.toys.lego for comparative purposes. "Richard Noeckel" (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.org, lugnet.general)

Re: *New Brickfest Initial Interest Survey*

(...) Cool! Could you give me some help. I manage the LUG Map... (URL) I am not as up on Australian Geography as I probably should be. Could you help me in locating you on the Australian Map so that you can be added. Thanks, Eric Kingsley (25 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.au.sa.ade, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.org)

  *New Brickfest Initial Interest Survey*

Greetings all! Over in .events, several folks, especially us nutty West Coasters, have been seriously discussing the possibility of a new Brickfest-like event. I have posted a quick survey to help gauge folks level of interest in this idea. Please (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.announce, lugnet.events, lugnet.org) !

Re: some "mild" discrepancies in roll call....

Re: some "mild" discrepancies in roll call....

(...) I think we'll start seeing cross polination in the loc and org groups. The good thing about the volume these days is that probably 905% of North American AFOLs are within a 4 hour drive of enough people to at least occaisionally have a fest (...)   Re: some "mild" discrepancies in roll call....

(...) Disagree. The DC event (the first one ever held was in DC last year, IIRC) is "Brickfest". Legofest is a much broader term...
