You need to find the docs to turn off the onboard video, but yeah, it
should be eminently possible.

Does it have AGP? I'm partial to Matrox, especially since they started
working with the open-source community to procide drivers instead of
against them. The G200 is a good card, and the G400 sounds better -
but I'm none too sure about Xfree support.
