Just set up your DNS as authoritative for these domains. To prevent it
trying to access the global root servers whenever you try and access a
domain outside of your network you can make your DNS server a root server,
that makes it think it has all data for the whole network and just reply
with a "no such host" for domains it doesn't know about.

| (...) if only a few hosts are supposed to access those "domains", why bother with dns at all? just set up the hosts file on all the computers to point those domains to whatever IP you need... Dan (the other one, I guess :) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
