You can *sort* of do this -- if the red line finishes while your black line
is still going, you can start another red line. This is actually a pretty
important tactic for getting high scores. It wouldn't be too hard to
actually implement the ability do make a lot more lines, but I'm not sure
what that would do to gameplay....
