(...) Good Lord man! 365,000 applications in twelve minutes? It's obvious this foosball table company isn't net.savvy (I mean, besides the fact that they admitted it)--if they were, they'd have made it look horridly unattractive. "Company seeks (...) (...) For a lot of search engines, you have to register, unfortunately. Even more unfortunately, some search engines make you *pay* to register. Mmm, graft. eric (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  News search function temporarily disabled

The system crashed again. Either it's running out of memory and that's causing a downward spiral or it's running out of CPU cycles and starving enough processes to build up and cause a meltdown.   Digital cameras - some MUCH cheaper overseas, even with shipping

I've wanted a Casio QV-2800 since they were first announced, due to their 8x OPTICAL zoom and CFII capabilities. They STILL aren't available in the US except from Casio at $700, and CA tax added $58 to that! After shipping, the total was going to be (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
