(...) Xwin32 is free for 2 hours of use per session. There's another one called something like M/X, but if I remember right, it's not as good. You could also use VNC.... Hey geeks :) Anyone know of a free X server for windows I could use? I really want to be able to edit stuff off my work computer at home, but it's so hard without VIM/Emacs... Or, another option, instead of an x server, anyone ever tried to forward (...) (25 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) well, I'm biased, but the only dist I've any experience with is Redhat... If you have background in unix, you should be fine figuring out RH...
