Re: Space Boys! YOU ARE GO... for Brickfest!

(...) You know, I tried to come up with a response to this, but I just couldn't think of anything that would be appropriate for a public forum. ;^) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Note the (s) after Central African - cut and pasted exactly as written ("Noun:" that (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: National nouns (was:Americans, North Americans, Americasians)

(...) So technically they share exactly the same problem as Americans: the noun refers purely to geography, not the people. You are not alone!... :-) Pedro (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: National nouns (was:Americans, North Americans, Americasians)

(...) I stand corrected (I checked since for Portuguese too, in which case both terms can be used; traditionally, we did not refer to a separation between the two continents - now we apparently do) (...)
