Re: LEGO Theatrical "trailer" Fight Club Spoilers!

(...) Haven't read the novel. I wasn't too wowed by the message, which has been done to death elsewhere (perhaps the novel preceded that, but the film presented nothing new to me in that way.) That whole treatment of identity is a foundation piece (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) well, thats assuming that the rate of posting has been pretty much constant... I bet it didn't start off with 173 posts/day though, so we'll probably get there sooner :) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: LEGO Theatrical "trailer"

(...) There are commercials right now for the latest version of Final Fantasy, as well as a host of other such games, all of which display SFX at least equal to what I've seen of the D&D film. (...) Mmmm... Angelina Jolie! Dave! (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Post Count

As of Tuesday, December 12 at 9:34 AM CST, LUGNET has around 199,345 posts. Who do you think'll get 200,000? That's pretty good for two years. LUGNET has been here about 1149 days, starting on or about September 28, 1998, which is when Todd made (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general)

Among my complaints: -Stupid Dragons- In my gaming experience, dragons are highly intelligent and cunning, and will just as quickly cast a spell at you as they would use a breath weapon. (...) Ayup. (...) That's true. Like I said, that was the biggest disappointment about the movie. (...) Hmm. Have you read the novel? What did you think was overblown or overdone about it? Did you not like the basic premise? Did you feel that it's (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

(...) Hmmm...somehow, I think people would rather drink coffee from "Starbuck's" than from, say, "Queequeg's." However, if anyone wants to market animal feed, I'll propose the name "Call me Fishmeal." :) ack. best Lindsay XFUT -> .o-t.fun (25 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: HELP! I'm out of control!

(...) Nope. There is no way possible for me to fit all of my Lego in one room. It already fills one room (including the attached bathroom and large closet) and spills out into the kitchen, dining room, and TV room. IF I threw out every box and (...)   Re: HELP! I'm out of control!

(...) Only $400? I think my record for one month was back in 12/99 when I spent $1100. I got two 6991 Monorails from DYA and the first space monorail for like $230 and then a bunch of Star wars sets. (...) Welcome to the club Kevin. I've accumulated an almost complete Lego Technic/Mindstorms/Expert Builder/Throwbots/Slizzer collection in a year.   HELP! I'm out of control!

Help! My name is Kevin and I am a Legoholic. I don't know what has come over me. I'm spending way too much on Lego! In the last 2 months, I have spent over 4000$ on the little plastic bricks.
