| | ... lots of snipped quotes ... Hmm, which book is Phlewder Phlam in? One of Lloyd Alexander's one-of-a-kind books is: The Marvelous Misadventures of Sebastian. Though I liked the Prydain books a lot, this no-magic tale was weirdly fun. Hey, somebody (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

|
| | | | (...) Woohoo! Earthsea is one of my favorite series. LeGuin has a rare talent for 'minimalist' descriptions - very capable of drawing out the essence of something in very few words. | | | | Man, I have got to re-read all of these, that is, the ones I didn't read the first time around! Last summer I picked up the Book of Three because my friend Bryce left it around. Oops, two summers ago. (...) Sebastian is this ordinary guy who goes (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
